Join an "IMP Family" of Mentors
Each student is matched with a family of up to 8 mentors who are able to meet his/her comprehensive
needs. The "family-style" mentoring structure affords volunteers complete flexibility while assuring continuity for the students.
There is no minumum time committment. IMP Family activities include:
After-school tutoring
Community service projects
Team-building field trips
Teacher conferences
Family meetings
SAT preparation
College application and financial aid guidance
Motivational goal-setting
Identifying personal conflicts and referring
to professional resources

Join the Fundraising Team
IMP's minimal operating budget is now divided between groups of students in college
and high school. We would appreciate your help with:
Grantwriting
Organizing fundraising events
Writing a quartly newsletter for donors and friends

Donate Supplies:
IMP appreciates the generosity of personal and corporate product donations. We are especially
in need of:
Meals to provide at evening tutoring sessions
Computers
Printers
College linens (sheets, towels)

Do you want leadership experience in the non-profit sector? Do you have professional experience,
skills, or the motivation to develop them? You can work directly with the Board of Directors in the following areas:
Program evaluation
Public relations
Stakeholder analysis
Fundraising strategy
Policy-writing
Strategic plan for expansion
Partnering with existing community resources

Form a Partnership with IMP
IMP students perform monthly service projects for a wide variety of community partners. Other organizations offer shadowing, internships, and summer employement to IMP students. Contact us if you would like to collaborate.
